when you click a link on a web site , usually it opens as a new window or a pop up window. This option is set by ';right click';ing your mouse and selecting ';open link in a new window';.



The window thus created normally remembers the old settings, in your case the window retains its minimized size.



Just maximize the window once and it will be a maximized window henceforth
This is an annoying thing that Windows does, but it's easily fixed.



- Open your browser up.

- Click on a link to open a new page, this page will not be full screen as you said.

- Close the *orginal* window. And I mean close it, don't just minimise it to the task bar.

- Now go back to your newer window and maximise it.

- Now close that window as well.



Because your newer window, the one you had to maximise, was the last thing open, and because you maximised it before you closed it down, your browser will now 'remember' that window and from now on in any new windows will be the same size i.e. maximised to full screen.
