You need to consider a database, mysql is best, and use php to build the dynamic part of the page from this data. So for a table giving results you need to build yourself an input page for the data (only for your use) and a script to read and display the query results. something like :

$display_string .=';%26lt;td%26gt;//or however you want to show it

How do I stop this message from popping up?
In late June, I restored my laptop to an earlier point. It so happens that when I restored it I restored to an earlier time before many programs were installed. Now the following message keepings popping up:

You have every right to make changes whenever you wish to as long as you own the domain name and are paying for the hosting service.
It all depends on where your site is hosted and who has the passwords and such to access and make the changes. If you have all of that, then you can change the password so that they can no longer make any changes and you can develop your own site, or get someone reliable to make the changes you want.

The way DNS servers operate (simplified version here), when you type a URL into your browser, it asks the closest DNS server for the IP address. If that DNS server doesn't know, it asks its neighbor for that information, and if that one doesn't know it asks its neighbor, and so on until eventually a DNS server has the correct IP address. Then it passes that information back down to you, and your browser establishes the HTTP connection with the IP address it recieved from the DNS server.

How do I make changes to my website using Dreamweaver ?
I see that there are a couple errors on my website.
Since l published my website I have reformatted my computer causing me to have to reinstall Dreamweaver.
Now when I go to manage sites, my website is gone from the list. Can someone please tell me step by step how I can make changes to my website now. I have all my website folders saved on a external hard drive.How do I make changes to my website using Dreamweaver ?

Next open dreamweaver, click on the sites manager and add one. Use the credentials above, link to an empty NEW folder on your computer somewhere. Finish this part up...
Now you still haven't moved any files........and when you connect, you get all of your website to download right into it's working folders......
The only thing you have left to do is replace the template folder and some other stuff from the archive. Remember to grab any photoshop, fireworks, flash, or other files you use to manipulate graphics, movies, etc. Take note of the folder structure in the archive.
Now make the new set of folders look like the old. Add a templates folder, drop the template in, add all your other stuff, and Voilla.
You are done. Your back in control of your custom website.
Some users wish to control the FTP a bit more.

Ok.. I need help with some html or somethin.. I need to have a background image.. but if i make it perfectly to fit my high display settings.. its fine.. but if somebody looks at my site with a lower display setting, its too big.. is there some kind of special way that it fits to the browser for whatever display setting is on???

I am trying to remember how to do this.
I have a basic HTML website with many pages. You just need to create a file with a .php or htm extension and put your navigation 'linkbox' mark-up in there and then link to that on each page like this:

The only drawback is that it requires that you are running on a system that runs php. I mean on the server that runs your website...most do have php these days anyway.
You will have to name your pages .php rather than .html or .htm if you do use these includes, but you don't have to change anything else.
Sorry to sell php so blatantly, but once you have it you can also handle forms/email sending, update your copyright automatically, show pictures or greetings randomly, and on and on.
People usually call this technique extension. They create the menu or layout in ONE file, and use links to place them all in one page.

How do i change my old website files to be visible under my new Domain name?
Hi there, i just dropped my old domain address and bought myself a new domain name for my business, have uploaded all of my ';old'; website files to my new domain's public_html via cPanel and Fetch (OSX user) , but i am having a heck of a time figuring out how to change my index.php and the rest of my files to point towards my new domain address. I have gone into the code, found and replaced some, but haven't found all. I get emails from the Change.org website now and then even though I did not vote for Obama so that I can be up to date I subscribed, but I found something that has me a bit upset.

It isn't Obama's opinions, his words, or his policy goals. Just some woman who wants to see something happen...who has blogged about it on change.org.
Acorn is a non-governmental organization that provides a great many different services, some of which are contracted from other groups. The McCain campaign made them out to be some kind of plague of demons. They're not. ∠°)
I don't see anything on change.org that says they are affiliated with Obama. I think they are partial to Obama, but I don't think Obama has any power to call the shots at change.org.

He never said he had no affiliation, just that the tie was coincidental He made clear that during the campaign he did not fund then or have any affiliation, in fact Obama had his own campaign funded get out the vote effort they helped registered me as a matter of fact. Even so if he said he had no affiliation before why is it a problem now? ACORN is not the bad guy anyway the accusations against them will come ever election cycle because they happen to help minorities and poor people and those people happen to vote democrat on average on a much higher frequency because the democratic party cares about them more. Every election cycle the republicans will try and discount as many votes as they can because it is these minority votes that tend to, in large numbers, flock to the dems.

The ACORN argument is a farce developed to scare individuals and gather support for the GOP. ACORN in fact is an organization who has attempted to register as many individuals in the urban areas to increase their silent voice in the election process.
All signatures and registrations are gather and filter to the base of ACORN's abilities. However; what's never discuss is the responsibility of the government to verify all new applications. Thus neither is Obama or the organization of ACORN at fault for the illegal actions of individuals, or political saboteurs..
No he did not, but so many people are hurting and people are looking for hope. Without money what can you do when everyone keeps passing you by not holding out a hand to help.
Talking of foreclosures. Sure many got in over their heads, but now it is so bad people who wasn't has been pulled into it. Jobs yanked out from under families and they do need help. They need it NOW.

It's more like changing a power point document than a word document, but so long as the basic structure of the website is set up then it is just a matter of changing the text and moving the pictures around. It's quite easy once the initial setup has been completed.

I need to make a script that would change the background color for about 2 minutes and switch back. Like 8:10 - 8:12.

There are also problems with element backgrounds: some browsers respond to background='mypic' (argument), other only to style (background-image: url('mypic')... You have to use both.
Same with ALT on images: works on IE, nowhere else: you must use alt='text' title='text' etc, etc, etc...
Three ways to manage it:
- Make a %26lt;table%26gt; that contains %26lt;div%26gt;
- Write two different pages, detect webkit and download the right one
- Use a lot of conditional statements (if IE, else if FF, else if Webkit...)

How do I preset my website dimensions in Dreamweaver?
I'm trying to set it up so that the homepage opens as 800 x 600. It's ok if the viewer can re-size the window after they open it but I want the initial size to open as 800 x 600. I've tried reading the Dreamweaver book and it tells me under ';setting page dimensions'; to click the pop-up menu in the status bar. When I open it, all the window sizes are there but are hidden (I can't select it). Even if I change that, am I just changing the window size that I'm currently viewing OR am I actually changing the website browser size? I think I'm confusing myself.
