How can I make changes on a website from site builder?

Our Organization has a website that needs to be maintain monthly. I am a new member that will be resposible to update the website. I do have the ID and password; however, is not working. How can I login to make the changes?

If the web site was designed and published using Site Builder then yes you can change, update, add pages, delete pages and more. You will have to install Yahoo Site Builder software and then import the web site. You need to read and learn how to use Site Builder before attempting to make changes. If the pass word and ID is not working then it must not be correct, the password and ID must be entered exactly as it was created to work. Check with the person that gave you the pass word and ID, Have them tell you if it was all small letters, capital, numbers etc. Until you can log in and download the free software you cannot import site or change.

Hey..

First of all download sitebuilder by going to sitebuilder.yahoo.com. You will be prompted to login before you download the free software.

Once you have the software installed, you need to know where to get the existing site from.

Option 1:

If you have the site backed up on a disk (pen drive or cd)



Step1 : Copy the contents on to a folder on your computer(may be on the desktop).

Step 2 : In Sitebuilder go to File menu-%26gt;Open site-%26gt; Browse for the folder and you can find the site. Open it.

Step 3 : Make changes and publish it by clicking on the Publish button. You will need the YID and password that was used to create the account.



Option 2:

If you need to import the site from live website



Step1: Click on File-%26gt; Import Yahoo Site

Step 2: Choose a folder on your computer.

Step 3: Make changes and publish
