How do you get a .com Website for free?

I have a website, gwenz.weebly.com , and It cost a lot of money to make it gwenz.com

Also is there any website that lets you change your website to .com???

I have used websites that change it to .biz .music .2me etc. But when ever i use it, it makes me a take a survey that involves my phone number or address. And I didnt want to put that information in.

Does any one know a website that changes your website to .com or somthing like that for free with no surveys that works? How do you get a .com Website for free?
Since ';.com'; is for commercial clients (that is, businesses) there is always a fee.How do you get a .com Website for free?
You can try webs.com. You've got to pay for .com or you can get yourname.webs.com for free. Unfortunately there is no legitimate way to get a yourname.com site for free
It costs money to register a domain-name (a yearly fee) so your unlikely to get it for free... in addition, you'll (probably) need some hosting (a web-hotel or something).

I know there was a service long ago (close to 10 years) that allowed you to register for free. What they did was buy the domain for you, and they retained ownership of it. I think they added ads to the site, and could opt to not renew sites that went badly. I can't remember the name of this company, but you could try looking for something like that.
The answer is simply ';NO';.

dot com sites are registered websites and, for such, you must pay the registrar fee (around 10$/year, not a real killer).

On top of that, you must rent a host, and that will cost (for the cheapests), 5-10$/month.

If you can't afford that, even with your pocket money, then stay off the web or be content to have a free sub-domain and ads on your site(s).

It costs money to register a site.

It costs money to maintain a server.

Why would anyone give it to you for free????

The only reason of free hosts is that thay make money from the ads they put on your sub-domain...
