Website domain & host question?

i have a website already with a .com name.

This has been set up by an IT guy and the domain is registered to him. I do not know much about websites... and i have a couple of questions if anyone is able to answer them for me?

How do i buy the domain name when i runs out?

If i have to buy another domain name how do i change the website to that domain name ( web address)

Where can i get a good hosting price for my website. I have limited funds. I have all of the software for the website and is ready to go ...etc but does not have any products on it to buy yet?

what should i do first ?
