How do i change the title of a website in search engine?
when i searched my website that i made, anc high school in google, the link comes out as Untitled Document. does nyone know how to change this?How do i change the title of a website in search engine?
sign into your hosting account then yeah open your page in an editing tool and click properties and give it a name, author, description is reserved for detail's or meta tag's depending on the editing tool used.
if it's some sort of forum thru phpbb then you would need to log in as god user and go to preferences and set it there under micellanious option's.
the hoster of your site hould have an online page builder you can do it that way to. or use their online html editing tool and find where you see title and give it one that way. if you do it this way might as well add the meta tag's so it's crawled more by search engines and will show more result's when searchingby diff keyword's.How do i change the title of a website in search engine?

I have a virus that is so annoying, It can erase this message while im typing it, change my website address and go to different sites, while im listening to itunes it can change the song im listening to. The only way to eradicate a virus is to completely wipe your hard drive clean, including deleting all partitions, and start from scratch with a fresh installation.

Ok, So I have a company that taps into my website and they make changes without using the program I use to make changes, HOW DO THEY DO IT? What do they use? and can I use it to, when I need to make a change and i'm not at work?!

You should be able to log into your (hosting) control panel for your website and do anything you want in there.
If it's cPanel, then you click on:
File Manager %26gt;%26gt; folder icon next to public_html %26gt;%26gt; click on the file name %26gt;%26gt; select Edit on the top right hand side of the page.
If you do not have cPanel, but do have access to whatever control panel your hosting company offers, then it should be basically along those same lines, however with some the public_html folder may be named www instead.
Alternately, as the others have mentioned you can edit your files using an FTP (File Transfer Protocol) client such as Filezilla which is free to download and use.
To access your files via FTP you simply enter the url, domain name or IP address of your website (whatever the FTP you use asks for), and the usual log in information, such as the Username and Password, you normally use to access the control panel when you are at work.
With an FTP program you can transfer (really it just copies them) the files for your website to the computer you are using. You can make any changes you want or need to on the files, save them, and then FTP the updated files back into the hosting control panel.
An FTP program is also what most people use to make backup copies of their website to store on their personal/work computer. It's also the quickest way to do so.

You have that domain name already registered and you can't change that. What you can do is just buy / register the domain name you want and once it is complete, forward it to your existing website.
