More and more families are being forced to foreclose on their mortgages, and something needs to be done immediately to protect our neighborhoods. That's why Homelessness blogger Shannon Moriarty joined ACORN's Home Defenders campaign, explaining how foreclosures are bad for the economy and terrible for community life. ';
Now, the part that upset me is the ACORN part. I thought Obama did not contribute or affiliate with ACORN? Correct me I am wrong with some sort of evidence because someone who has some sort of influence on that site apparently has joined up with them.A Question about Obama and his so called Change?
Politicians tell you what you want to hear to get into office and then do as they please. Where is accountability? He hasn't even been at it for a month and already crippling our nation with debt in the name of stimulus by giving to ACORN and spending our hard earned tax dollars on abortions and illegals. He didn't do anything for Illinois but take our tax dollars. Now he's after the largest dollar amount any President has requested ever upon entering their term. We will being doing good to still have a nation a year from now with this kind of leadership.

Don’t bother asking Barack Obama. He cut his ideological teeth working with ACORN as a “community organizer” and legal representative. Naturally, ACORN’s political action committee has warmly endorsed his presidential candidacy. ACORN head Maude Hurd gushes that Obama is the candidate who “best understands and can affect change on the issues ACORN cares about” — like ensuring their massive pipeline to your hard-earned money. Let’s take a closer look at the ACORN Obama knows.

It is a blog site for what voters would like to see change within their government. When something is newly listed or when something receives a lot of hits, it is emailed to others. It isn't Obama's opinions, his words, or his policy goals. Just some woman who wants to see something happen...who has blogged about it on change.org.
Acorn is a non-governmental organization that provides a great many different services, some of which are contracted from other groups. The McCain campaign made them out to be some kind of plague of demons. They're not. ∠°)
I don't see anything on change.org that says they are affiliated with Obama. I think they are partial to Obama, but I don't think Obama has any power to call the shots at change.org.

His campaign said today that the money was paid as part of a get-out-the-vote effort — not voter registration — during the primary season. ACORN’s political action committee has endorsed Obama.”
$800 THOUSAND DOLLARS for get out the vote efforts during the primary season?? Hmmm . . . maybe that’s what paid for all those buses into Iowa during the caucus, all the lawyers and agitators in Texas during the caucus. More than three quarters of a million dollars for gaming the caucuses and fraud? It would be irresponsible NOT to speculate.

He never said he had no affiliation, just that the tie was coincidental He made clear that during the campaign he did not fund then or have any affiliation, in fact Obama had his own campaign funded get out the vote effort they helped registered me as a matter of fact. Even so if he said he had no affiliation before why is it a problem now? ACORN is not the bad guy anyway the accusations against them will come ever election cycle because they happen to help minorities and poor people and those people happen to vote democrat on average on a much higher frequency because the democratic party cares about them more. Every election cycle the republicans will try and discount as many votes as they can because it is these minority votes that tend to, in large numbers, flock to the dems.
During the DNC Nominee and Presidential Election; Obama illustrated that his campaign message of change. Change starting from the bottom up. Obama continues to address the issue at hand of having citizens getting involved locally and on the federal level to usher in change, for the betterment of our local communities, state, and country overall.
The ACORN argument is a farce developed to scare individuals and gather support for the GOP. ACORN in fact is an organization who has attempted to register as many individuals in the urban areas to increase their silent voice in the election process.
All signatures and registrations are gather and filter to the base of ACORN's abilities. However; what's never discuss is the responsibility of the government to verify all new applications. Thus neither is Obama or the organization of ACORN at fault for the illegal actions of individuals, or political saboteurs..
No he did not, but so many people are hurting and people are looking for hope. Without money what can you do when everyone keeps passing you by not holding out a hand to help.
Talking of foreclosures. Sure many got in over their heads, but now it is so bad people who wasn't has been pulled into it. Jobs yanked out from under families and they do need help. They need it NOW.
I could care less how much PORK is in the bill, pass it and mover on the the next bill. Homeowners are deep trouble and deserves bailed out.
