Trying to log onto ip website to change internet name?

I want to change my internet name and i looked online for how to do it. I put my ip address in but before i can access the website it asks for my internet user name and password. i didn't know what one to use so looked on my wireless router and put them in but it didn't work.

It sound like your trying to change your SSID. The user name is always (Admin Or Administrator) but the password depends on the manufacturer this or some (admin, password) you can also try it with no password just the user name.

What do you mean by ';internet name';? There is no such thing as an ';internet name';. The IP address which you entered in your browser is most likely the IP address of your router or modem. The username and password which are asked for are from the device in question. If it is your router, then you need to look up the username and password in the manual. If it is your modem, you will need to ask your ISP for the username and password if you do not have it yourself.
