I need to change my website to a 1024x768, so when people go to it they do not have to 'scroll' sideways.

Our website www.ravenpetproducts.com was built using Frontpage using a 1024x768 foremat. We bought a new wide screen monitor and rebuilt our web page but it changed the 1024x768 to a wide screen foremat and now people who do not have wide screens have to scroll side to side to read it. We can't figure out on the HTML what happened or how to fix it. We have 3 other pages on the site and they are still OK at 1024x768. Can you tell us how to foremat our page 1 back to 1024x768?I need to change my website to a 1024x768, so when people go to it they do not have to 'scroll' sideways.
on about line 25 of you html page there is this line

%26lt;DIV

26style=';width: 1211; height: 4651; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 10px';%26gt;

change the width from 1211 to 768 and this will change the width. if you only have notepad open it up and and look for that kine it should be near the top and cahnge it in there and save it as a .html file. if you have any problems just gave me an email :)

actually if you want just email me the page i will fix it and sent it back asap :)I need to change my website to a 1024x768, so when people go to it they do not have to 'scroll' sideways.
click on start, go to control panel, click on display, go to settins, click on screen pixel box
%26lt;DIV

style=';width: XXX; height: 4651; padding-left: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 10px';%26gt;

Snip from your source. Change the XXX to the width you want.
It's been a while and I don't have Frontpage installed anymore. I believe this will work for version 2003.

However, open the ';View'; menu, select ';page';, select ';Design';, again select ';View';, select ';Page Size';, and select the size you want from that list.

Web designers don't consider this to be WYSIWYG. In corporate environments, people use VMware running different OS and browser versions and change the actual resolution of the screen to make sure that their website has compatibility with the greatest number of clients.

Hope that helps!
