My website frames change sizes on diffrent computer screens! Help me!?

Ok here is the deal i got onto someone else's laptop (which was older) and their monitor is puny. and even though i changed the sizes of my frames they still come up huge just on their pc. their fine on my laptop screen or any screen thats as big or bigger than mine. how do i make the frames equal to all screens? There has to be a way. oh their nested frames (one at the top and one on the left going vertical) using Dreamweaver cs3

Chances are the size of your frames are based on percentages so they change on each different computer. Try using a fixed height in pixels.

Or it may just be the resolution, a layout made for a 1024x768 res will look very big in a 800x600.My website frames change sizes on diffrent computer screens! Help me!?
its the screen resolution of the computer. its not your fault, and there's no way you can really atone for this. you can design your sites at 800x600 but they'll look really small on computers with large resolutions (more pixels).

You can do a Javascript detection script to send the user to the appropriate web page. Check Google ';javascript resolution detection'; and you'll see a few that can help you.
Are there pictures or tables involved? They will usually take up the space they need no matter what you say for width on other things. You would need to set size limits for those before your frames will change size.
