How could i be able to change my website from smoothbuy.org to workathome.net?
You'll have to purchae workathome.net first and then transfer the files from smoothbuy.org to the new one.

The website that appears once you open your Internet Explorer is called a homepage. :)
To set this:
1) Click Tools
2) Click Internet Options
3) In the General Tab - Type the links that you like to appear
4) Click Apply
5) Click Ok
Note: If you want several pages to appear when you open your Internet or browser, just press enter everytime you type the link.

just open up all the pages you wish to open when you open your browser
then go to tools
then internet options
then in the bar where it says 'home page,'
all the pages that are currently up will automatically be inserted into the typing area
and just click apply
Tools, Internet Options, copy your link of your wanted homepage,and the put it into the box and save it.
If you have windows vista, then you need to go to the toolbar at the top with the little house on it and drop the arrow next to that down after you have gotten to the site that you want to be your home page and then click add or change home page, then click the ';Use this page as your only home page'; circle and click ok.

I need to change my website to a 1024x768, so when people go to it they do not have to 'scroll' sideways.
Our website www.ravenpetproducts.com was built using Frontpage using a 1024x768 foremat. We bought a new wide screen monitor and rebuilt our web page but it changed the 1024x768 to a wide screen foremat and now people who do not have wide screens have to scroll side to side to read it. We can't figure out on the HTML what happened or how to fix it. We have 3 other pages on the site and they are still OK at 1024x768. change the width from 1211 to 768 and this will change the width. if you only have notepad open it up and and look for that kine it should be near the top and cahnge it in there and save it as a .html file. if you have any problems just gave me an email :)

Is it legal to copy and change a website's html?
For example: Going to http://www.google.com, right-click, view source, copying the html, and pasting it into notepad. Then you could make changes to it, like changing the background to blue, and removing the search buttons, etc. After that you could save it as sdfkgh.htm. Then you could open it to see what changes you have made and how it looks and stuff. Wouldn't publish the changed/copied html to a website. HTML can't do any of these.
A forum will use server-side scripts to GENERATE an HTML you can see.

You know all those tags you use in html, well ya use somewhat different ones for rss, and ya call the file something.rss (or something.atom or something.xml)...
look at a good one, then copy their structure...
bonus point if you find a cool ATOM(the latest format for rss) site!
