I HATE the new layout on Yahoo. I dont want it. I just turned on my computer, and there it was! A unilateral decision on the part of Yahoo, it's too large, too cumberson, no way of changing back or help on this issue. How can I change it back to the ';old'; website appearance? How can I change Yahoo website back to the ';old'; appearance?
This sounds like your classic mail was upgraded. If so, there is no going back to the old way. Look for and click '; What's New'; to see the changes, what's been added and removed. Also check out these links for help and info. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/cl http://new.mail.yahoo.com/classic If you have been switched to the New Mail, then look to the top right of your mail screen and click Mail Classic there. It should take you back. How can I change Yahoo website back to the ';old'; appearance?
in the rite top hand corner it say classic yahoo
I didn't have the new mail, but they updated me and there were so many problems....my friends started complaining it was almost impossible to reply to my messages, took forever with the cursor jumping around, and different things happening....to make a long story short, it wasn't fun anymore for them to reply to my messages. I set up email acct in Comcast and have the Yahoo group mail coming to me there. Hated to do that, but there wasn't any choice.

How do I change my website's entering?
I don't know how exactly to correctly word this, but I know of a few websites that when you click on their link or type in their URL, the screen ';fades'; or ';peels'; into that website. What would you call this and how can I make my website do that? How do I change my website's entering?
Yes, it's called a screen transition...
There is no ';right way'; to do this. All of them are completely wrong. Seriously.
You can do it using Flash, but Flash has accessibility issues. You can also use the html screen transition tag...this is deprecated and not supported though.
Transitions are the mark of an amateur. If you are just messing about, fine...but otherwise, best to find another trick. How do I change my website's entering?
Hello,
Normally websites that have splash screens or interactive user effects are using a form of Adobe Flash or Microsoft Silverlight. These offer a very high quality user experience but at the cost of search engines not being able to index them properly.
You can get into either one or the other at the following links:

My website which is on a shared server is blocked by the china firewall. Is it possible to change my website IP?
can i change my websites IP address(my host provider wont do it for me)and will this maybe resolve the china issue.
If yes how can i do that?My website which is on a shared server is blocked by the china firewall. Is it possible to change my website IP?
The only way you'll probably be able to do this is to change hosts like I did.
I know this problem and have had it myself before.
I now keep my sites hosted with http://www.hostmonsterplus.com and haven't had any problems since.
They have a great offer and are fairly cheap.
So good luck, and hi from Harbin up north where it's freezing.
If you have any troubles, feel free to PM me and I'll try and help, but I don't think you should if you go with them.My website which is on a shared server is blocked by the china firewall. Is it possible to change my website IP?
It might be easier to use a proxy service so you don't have to change your website's IP, as it can get blocked again. Try www.freedur.com, it lets you bypass China's firewall and the program is very nicely made.

How can i change ip address to binary code and how can i open than block site?
somebody tole me that if i change website address to binary code than i can easily open the blocked site, please if any body know let me know step by step. How can i change ip address to binary code and how can i open than block site?
I'm afraid that only proxy servers can help you. Try with free proxies from http://www.proxyblind.orgHow can i change ip address to binary code and how can i open than block site?
He probably meant to resolve the name address to an ip address. Not binary code.
You can find the ip address of a website by opening command prompt and pinging it
Start%26gt;run%26gt;cmd%26gt;';ping google.com'; for example
Other ways to access blocked sites is to use a webbased proxy site like http://hidemyass.com
Um.. sorry but there's no point in doing that an ip address is just the url name itself for example, answers.yahoo.com can be resolved to an ip address of 69.147.100.227 you can type that into your browser and it'll redirect to here. Converting that to binary won't help you with anything if it's blocked on your computer, it's blocked fine another way around it.

Inserting a meta description is your best bet for solving the mentioned problem.
Google and other search engines do not always use the meta description as the little 'blurb' under your title see in the search returns, however this is most likely to fix your problem and there's no need to currently worry about the more complicated stuff. How do I change my website description on google?
